Oppo has officially launched its flagship Find X8 series in India, with the devices set to go on sale starting December 3. The series includes the Oppo Find X8 and the Oppo Find X8 Pro, both designed to offer faster performance and powerful camera capabilities with MediaTek’s latest Dimensity 9400, and camera systems tuned with Hasselblad.
Let’s take a detailed look at the Oppo Find X8 series and what the latest flagship from Oppo offers.
The Oppo Find X8 is a sleek and compact device measuring 157.35 x 74.33 x 7.85 mm and weighing 193 grams. It is available in two elegant colour options: Star Grey and Space Black.
The Find X8 Pro variant features a slightly larger build, with dimensions of 162.27 x 76.67 x 8.24 mm for the Space Black version and 8.34 mm thickness for the Pearl White option. Weighing 215 grams, it features a curved display and a marble texture design for the white colour option.
Both models in the Find X8 series come with IP68 and IP69 certifications.
The Find X8 features a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2760 x 1256 pixels.
The higher-end Find X8 Pro has a larger 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a higher resolution of 2780 x 1264 pixels.
Both displays support a 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, and HDR10+.
Under the hood, the latest Oppo flagship – Find X8 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset, which is being touted as one of the fastest Android chipsets of this generation.
Find X8: 12GB or 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, coupled with 256GB or 512GB internal storage.
Find X8 Pro: 16GB RAM as standard, with storage options of 256GB or 512GB.
To power the device, the new Oppo Find X8 includes a 5630mAh battery while the Find X8 Pro includes a 5910mAh battery.
Both devices support 80W SUPERVOOC wired charging, 50W AIRVOOC wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging.
The new Oppo Find X8 series runs on the latest ColorOS 15, based on Android 15.
The camera is a standout feature of the Oppo Find X8 series, with both models equipped with Hasselblad-tuned systems:
Find X8: Triple-camera setup, including a 50-megapixel Sony IMX700 primary sensor with OIS, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 50-megapixel 3X telephoto lens with OIS.
Find X8 Pro: Quad-camera setup with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX808 wide sensor, a dual telephoto system comprising a 50-megapixel Sony IMX700 and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX858, both with OIS. Additionally, the devices boast AI zoom capabilities with up to 120X zoom.
Both models feature a 32-megapixel Sony IMX615 front camera for selfies and video calls.
The Oppo Find X8 series will be available in India from December 3 via the Oppo e-store, Flipkart, and major retail outlets.
The standard Find X8 will be available in two options:
– 12GB+256GB: Rs 69,999
– 16GB+512GB: Rs 79,999
As for the Find X8 Pro it will be available in India in a single 16GB+512GB variant priced at Rs 99,999.
